Chain Driven Grandfather Clocks

Chain driven mechanism consists of weights suspended by chains and pulleys. To wind these clocks one has to open the door of the waist cabinet and pull the chains as the weights go up. The weights will then fall over the course of the week, and this is what powers the clock.
